This article explores the classification and applications of solar photovoltaic glass. Photovoltaic glass substrates used in solar cells typically include ultra-thin glass, surface-coated glass, and low-iron (extra-clear) glass.
The FTO- coated glass plates are ideally suited as glass substrates for perovskite devices and dye sensitized solar cells (Abd Mutalib et al., 2022; Hiltunen et al., 2022). The sheet resistance of the conductive coating in TEC15 glass plates is approximately 15Ω/sq. Glass plates over 5 sheets pack are available but freight costs will vary.
