Abstract: Lead-carbon battery is a kind of new capacitive lead-acid battery, which is based on the traditional lead-acid battery, using the method of adding carbon material to the negative electrode to improve the specific capacity and charge-discharge characteristics of the battery.
Lead-carbon battery solves the defects of low charge-discharge rate of traditional lead-acid battery, improves the phenomenon of negative sulfate, and has the advantages of good charge-discharge performance and long battery life.
Achievements have been made in developing advanced lead-carbon negative electrodes. Additionally, there has been significant progress in developing commercially available lead-carbon battery products. Therefore, exploring a durable, long-life, corrosion-resistive lead dioxide positive electrode is of significance.
