In my personal experience they have been good so far and offer good tech and service support. Here is a the Huawei inverter review which might help. They are definitely one of the better quality Chinese made inverters and are also a hybrid (battery) inverter as well with some clever features.
To get off grid mode to work with a BackupBox..... Solution: Buy a LUNA ESS Battery and attach it to the M1 inverter ! Got it - so i should install energy storage. Is there any cheaper alternatives for LUNA that will work in my case (compatible with SUN2000-6KTL-M1)? LUNA is ''THE'' battery for Huawei inverters.
After the off-grid mode is set, the inverter supports off-grid operation. Connect to the EMMA. On the home screen, choose Monitor > Inverter, tap Set > Feature parameters, and enable Off-grid mode. Connect to the inverter by referring to A Connecting to the Inverter on the App.
