Inverters can be categorized based on the type of AC power they produce. AC power generated by the grid is of a pure sinusoidal shape and alternates smoothly between high and low voltage according to the shape of a sine wave.
An AC-AC inverter converts three-phase AC energy from the permanent magnetic generator connected to the engine to direct current. Then, it outputs a sine wave. Our AC-AC inverters can also be set up and used in parallel operation with our CPU-based digital control.
From a broad perspective, the converter circuit and inverter circuit are used as a set to perform AC to AC conversion. Whereas from a narrow perspective, inverters indicate the circuits and functions that are recognized as converting DC to AC.
